When it comes to lesbian romance novels that are available to read, it seems like the authors that write these books put in a lot of effort in the understanding of the genre. Their efforts give a different perspective to the lesbian community and serve as a representative to the LGBTQ community. There is a range of queer, coming-of-age novels that give a better understanding of the concept, cementing their stance with young adult literature and reshaping their space in horror.

There are books that offer the basic heavy plotlines whereas some choose to ignore sexism and homophobia completely.
Then there are others that offer a mix of both with a touch of utopia for their readers to reminisce in, however, I would say the more of a variety the better, don’t you think?
