The Plot

In the mid-1980s The Witcher appeared as a series of short stories in the Polish science fiction fantasy magazine, Fantastyka. This was its first appearance as a series and author Sapkowski went on to expand the ensuing novel series on The Witchers medieval fantasy world that was inspired by Slavic mythology.
The original language for the series is a mixture of Welsh, English, French, Latin, and Irish amongst others on which Sapkowski based his Elder Speech-language for The Witcher Saga.
